Hosted by Jeffery Pugh, our July Mid-Island Mensa Experience (MIME) event is a trip to the Parksville Beach Festival and Sand Sculptures! All are welcome – please join us and visit with your Island Ms! The Parksville Beach Festival is held annually at 193 Island Highway East and is open from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM with a suggested donation of $5/per person. https://www.parksvillebeachfest.ca/ Meet at the gravel parking lot near the Surfside RV Park at 11 AM and the group will walk eastwards to the event as closer parking is likely to be full; Jeff will have a Mensa pennant to identify himself. Highly coveted rides in the MIME-mobile can be arranged for a few lucky folks from Nanaimo; VanMs will be able to catch the Nanaimo Hullo ferry back at 3 PM.
